2019 Summer Concert Schedule June 19: Rhythm Kings – A Milwaukee dance band will kick off the season, bringing rhythm, blues, jazz and disco to MOR. Back by popular demand! June 26: Tallymore – Contemporary Irish band from Milwaukee. Performing a range of Irish and Scottish tunes, ballads, reels and classic pub songs. Incorporates county, bluegrass and Americana infl uences. July 3: Hip Pocket – This group is a local favorite and the have been invited to return. A ten-member band playing classic rock, R&B, contemporary big band and so much more that features excellent instrumentation and vocals. July 10: Live At Nine – Expect to hear a soulful blues sound with a splash of jazz, and add some classic rock. This band features eight talented musicians with great brass sound; saxophone, trumpet, guitar, bass, drums, keys and a host of auxiliary percussion. They come to MOR from Milwaukee. July 17: Copper Box – Copper Box is an accordion-fueled, roots rock party! Based in Oshkosh, they are an award-winning WAMI winner. Threads of blues, rock, zydeco and polka are all fused together in a genre-blending celebration. One big party! July 24: The Jimmy’s – A returning high-energy favorite. This band has won multiple awards many times over from both the Wisconsin Association of Music Industry and Madison Area Music Association. This group features blues, soul, funk, fantastic horns, guitars, dynamic keys and a hot rhythm section. 2019 Best of Madison Local Blues Band.
